Lone Browncoat, would you please elaborate? Thanks.

TinyWall allows for custom blocklists within an edit dialogue is what I meant to say, most good firewalls do, TW just allows for more control over the one in Windows. Kinda sleepy that day.

Re: SITE flagged on firefox and chrome????

1) Someone, an amateur, probably got their nose out of joint out of some frustration. 2)MPAA attack method. 3) Bad advertiser, junk code or someone deliberately doing an attack of some kind. Is all I can think of, though Abe and Russ don't like it, I take my own security seriously by using both Adbl...

Re: Have a bunch of shows been dropped from the line up lately?

Yup. It seems like Maher, Daily Show, Colbert (Late Show) and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver don't get uploaded regularly anymore for about 2 weeks now. You can always find a torrent, for me, what's MIA is 60 Minutes s49e26 e25-27 have all been interrupted/disrupted by sports going overtime in ...

comment for discussion..Grabbing "WEB-DL" files.........

.......Is becoming my favourite scene activity, though one does usually have to wait 24 hours or more because uploaders like FLEET, AVS etc. keep cutting off the tail end of shows . Though today upon reviewing one of my Fox shows, was a 'thank you' right at the start by Fox directed, no doubt, to re...

Re: Canadian copyright trolls

Mine is excellent, RP, currently 64 functional hosters including those from here and I just finished d/l my nine Monday shows in a half hour, including file rename to get the titles from the TV listings, from within FDM's dialogue box. Plus a torrent tool if I want a DVD/BR rip package{subtitles and...

Re: Canadian copyright trolls

I might just have to buy a VPN because freedom seems to be gone for good. Skip the VPN, google/bing/whatever 'Unrestricted Downloaders'. The one I use should spring up first, then the only connections to worry about would be their servers. They have a torrent tool, as I mentioned earlier, that will...

Re: HELLO RELIGIOUS PEOPLE! I have an honest question for you.

Well, my cheesecloth memory, I really don't remember his skit on "Stuff", but if you liked "Dogma" and you can take 90 minutes of a philosophical, round-table style of discussion, get a copy of "The Man From Earth". It is basically the story that the NBC/Paramount censo...

Re: HELLO RELIGIOUS PEOPLE! I have an honest question for you.

I believe in George Carlin. For me the late great G.C.'s 1999 Movie "Dogma" , he always espoused my thoughts much better than I could, I tend to get angry and wound up, and become what I despise most about TV preachers. I got a real good 4.5GiB copy of it. The second, "The Man From E...

Re: Ad blocker

Well cito... I'll concede your Kung Fu is better than mine, but I've been poor most of my life, and when I foolishly got into trucking, it turned my mind into mush and the 12-14 hour days killed off my Tinkering with Atari ST/TT as I was tired all the time, barely kept in touch with my old ham radio...

Re: Ads may be a necessary evil, however

I understand your frustration, but it can be tempered by not only using an adblock, but add NoScript to your browser as well....Then all I get is the engagement of a rogue tab with the NoScript red slash and highlighted URL, which is easy to close at the tab. Oh, Russ, The extension called "Coo...
