Hitting Play Leads to a Grey Screen

Hi everyone,

Running Win 7, Chrome, using VLC. When I click the little VLC sign on the Icefilms popup, it just turns the entire square into a blank grey space. Any idea whats up?

I looked at your image It doesn't look familiar. Is the problem on all hosts?

Hmmmm. I will do some testing. I have an Old Win 7 puter. Have you tried this with FF I bet that is where the problem is Chrome has changed something (As they do constantly!) (( I moved them to Most Hated Nemesis 3 days ago..)) over the years Chrome has been 75% of our problem in here. Please try FF and let me know if it stayed the same.

Stream. When I hit the download button (in the IceFilms box), it works fine, both in Chrome and FF. When I hit the VLC button in chrome it turns grey and when I hit the VLC button in FF nothing happens.

VLC is installed btw, 2.2.4. Weathermax

Same thing for me using FF bobbob1.

So it's not you. I'll pass this info to the site admin.

This is because of HTTPS. We will look into fixing it.

In the mean time, here is a workaround in Chrome (probably similar in FF):

- A reddish shield icon appears on the right side of the address bar just to the left of the bookmark star.
- Click this icon and tell it to allow unsafe (non-HTTPS) scripts.
- The VLC play button will now work.

Update: Fixed it.
