VLC Issues with Windows 7 and now 10

Post#1 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 12:39 pm

Pause Issue Fix:

VLC -> tools -> preferences -> show settings: all -> input/codecs -> access modules -> HTTP(S) -> Auto re-connect ->Save after each change

I don't have this option.

I also have an issue with streaming where it constantly turns grey an pixelated and then goes back to normal. My buffer is at 10,000ms

Hi Oxidious88. You have a couple options. The drop down you're looking for is the arrow right next to access modules in the settings list, not in the access modules selection drop down itself. In other words, click on the arrow next to access modules, not the words access modules.

You can also try the search option. VLC -> tools -> preferences -> show settings: all ->

At the top of the settings list is a search bar. Type in:

auto re

and it should pop right up. For whatever reason typing in "auto re" worked but typing in the whole "auto reconnect" didn't. Hope that helps.

Disclaimer:
I am in no way, shape, or form experienced with VLC. This is just what I've found by playing around with it.
