Why is it so big? Born that way. Seriously though, The new hosts allow bigger uploads. bigger files usually mean better bitrate which means higher quality.
The internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it.

release groups release those files those size so they find their way to the mainsite at those size.. -.-"
when there is a smaller release, im sure those will be posted to the mainsite too..
normally, BIG sized files will be released 1st then only the smaller sized ones will come along..
