Need 180Upload Tutorial

Post#1 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 8:41 pm

Can anyone help with a procedure to download videos from 180Upload. I can't get it to get there. When I try I only get the streaming option and then it won't buffer. This latter problem I don't really care about but could use some help as to how I can download the videos AVI / MP4, don't care just needs some help.

I was able to get Mega, Vidhog and Rabidshare to work but 180Upload is a mystery for me. I must not have received the secret decoder ring in the mail.

Thanks

Does it connect, and then make you wait patiently/impatiently? I periodically have issues with 180, and it seems to be traffic. Do you ave issues with all 180 links?

Yes, issues with all 180 links. I loaded Adblock, which helped. (It is a great tool). Only progress I have is to get to the DIVx streaming and then it won't buffer.

I'm having the same problems with all 180 sources - I click the link and the movie/show starts streaming without issue, but I cannot find any sort of download button (that isnt an ad). Not using any browser plugins or Ice scripts, just want to straight download. Is there a button hidden on the streaming page somewhere?

There is no download button. Your only options are to download through the divx player or use a download manager.

Here are some instructions on how to download from 180upload independantly from the IQS divx webplayer

1.) from icefilms click to open 180upload source.

2.) once 180upload webpage has opened click the button in your web browser that stops the page from loading further content. (the button is usually indicated as an "X" right by the URL address bar)

3.) now that the page is frozen, locate below where it says "generating..." and you should see this:
Download Link | Link for forums | HTML code | Embed code | Embed code 2

4.) Click the tab mentioned above "Embed code 2" and you will get a little code box below with content such as this for example:

Code: Select all

<object classid='clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000' width='640' height='360'>
<param name='movie' value='http://180upload.com/player/player.swf'>
<param name='allowfullscreen' value='true'>
<param name='allowscriptaccess' value='always'>
<param name='wmode' value='transparent'>
<param name='flashvars' value='file=http://180upload.com/vidembed-cbx064ab61rp.mp4&image=http://173.193.202.92/32000/i/00005/cbx064ab61rp.jpg&provider=http'>
<embed src='http://180upload.com/player/player.swf' width='640' height='360' bgcolor='#000000' allowscriptaccess='always' allowfullscreen='true' flashvars='file=http://180upload.com/vidembed-cbx064ab61rp.mp4&image=http://173.193.202.92/32000/i/00005/cbx064ab61rp.jpg&provider=http' />
</object>

5.) copy the following segment of the referenced code above like this:

Code: Select all

http://180upload.com/vidembed-cbx064ab61rp.mp4

6.) paste the copied content to your web browsers URL address bar and load the page (it takes a few moments for the page to load). Once the page loads you should now see a black background and a player object in the middle.

7.) Right click anywhere on the black background to open an option selection box and now click on "SAVE AS". Choose where to save the file and then your done.

Enjoy! :D

very strange...
if your using google chrome there is a different way to do it.

Method 2

1.) from icefilms click to open 180upload source.

2.) once window opens press [CTRL + SHIFT + J] on your keyboard to open the chrome console view.

3.) wait for the video to generate then press the big play button

4.) you should now see a big link close to the bottom of the console window that looks like this for example:

Code: Select all

http://www.icedivx.com/video.php?w=638&h=370&vurl=http://173.193.202.92/3500/files/8/39latw66blirnr/Game.of.Thrones.You.Win.or.You.Die.mp4&flash=0&t=0&v=4.9&go=USA

5.) copy the link and paste it into the browser url address bar and remove all the redundant parts of the url to look like this for example (whats left will start with http and end with the video extention which is mp4 in this case)

Code: Select all

http://173.193.202.92/3500/files/8/39latw66blirnr/Game.of.Thrones.You.Win.or.You.Die.mp4

7.) Right click anywhere on the black background to open an option selection box and now click on "SAVE AS". Choose where to save the file and then your done.

Assuming you guy have IQS 4.9 and divx web player v1.5 installed correctly and you see the player appear sometimes while other times not, then this happens when the video file is in MP4 format which is not supported by the DIVX web player and the IQS script glitches causing it to disappear.

If however the player appears on no sources then it is very likely that you are using internet explorer 8. IE8 has been documented by Microsoft to malfunction with java script on certain commands and since the IQS is made with java script this issue becomes an unfortunate casualty of incompatibility since the IQS script is optimized to operate with modern browsers such as firefox, chrome, internet explorer 9.

I'm using google chrome, and i opened up the console view, then clicked the play button in the player of 180upload, but i don't see anything like the video link example you mentioned in the post. all i'm seeing is:

"http://ping.chartbeat.net/ping?h=180upload.com&p=%2F5ra3l6duspmz&u=od07a3lqhzlta5ic.1331738674087.1332821707477.00000000000001&d=180upload.com&g=33319&n=0&f=1&c=0.5&x=388&y=1463&w=1075&j=30&R=1&W=0&I=0&E=30&v=http%3A%2F%2F180upload.com%2F5ra3l6duspmz&b=734&t=w4jnjav5bgy2lktb&V=4&i=www.180upload.com%20-%20Video%20Streaming%20and%20File%20Sharing%20Completely%20Free&_"

with a bunch of errors randomly spread around in the lines as well. am i just doing something wrong or am i just missing something?

If there's anything that says .mp4, take that. It might take some looking.
I personally am finding the "embed code 2" really easy to look through.
