Hey guys I'm having some problems. I'm using Bino (because sview won't run on PC for some reason. It just never opens and shows only 72kb in task manager.) and the sound plays fine but the video skips pretty bad. Is this something I can fix or is this limited by my PC power?

It should work, you may need to up your memory a bit though.

Does it play choppy even if you try to play it as a 2D file?

It skips in Bino in 2D but it plays fine in VLC. So that tells me the problem is with Bino and not my PC power.

Do you know of any other programs besides sview and Bino that I could try?

Something weird is going on... now sView loads up, but skips like Bino did. The Steroscopic player just freezes and becomes unresponsive on startup like the sView was doing. All well, I'll try figure it out some other time.

I'm thinking you may have too much running at once on your system? Video uses a lot of memory, and these programs work with the video file in strange ways (chop it in two, do post-processing before display).

try stopping some processes on your computer, free up some ram and try it again?

Not sure if this has been asked before I couldnt find a post , if there is, I apologize for my question, but is there a way to convert the H-SBS video to a flat anaglyph 3d AVI File? I want to play them on from my network drive to my big screen without having to plug my cruddy laptop in. Any ideas?

Thanks,

-k

this was asked a while back i think but yeah.. it cant be done because if you convert the file etc it would no longer be 3d. The best way is to connect your laptop via hdmi/dvi but if thats not an option im afraid youll have to watch them on your normal monitor.

However there are certain movies in anaglyph avi that i have but will not be the newer movies.. if you want links pm me.

Thanks for the amazing guide! I got everything to work perfectly except for loading the subtitles. Whenever i try to load the subtitles (.srt) file I keep getting an error:

"FFmpeg: couldn't open video file 'D:\\xxxxx.srt'. Error invalid data found when processing input"

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks! :)

sounds like a bad srt file?

which video? Anything not english should have subtitles built-in and selectable.

I set it all up as per instructions and everything works the way it should.

As for the 3D effect Red/Blue glasses are fine

But

Yellow/blue are off. Even with the settings to yellow/blue I can see the yellow and blue lines out side of the objects thorugh the glasses. The color is not matching to the lenes properly.

That was the biggest issue with anaglyph... not everyone's depth perception is the same.

You can try to play with the program's depth settings, it may help.

I'd suggest going with the red/blue glasses then, if they seem to work best for you.
