Upload.af "please disable your adblocker"

Upload.af displays a white page with the message "please disable your adblocker" which prevents the page from loading. My AdBlocker is not turned on and I can't get rid of this message. Am I the only getting this page? Is there a workaround?

Try cleaning your browser Cache you prolly just have the site in Cache.
Also Noscript and Ghostery will give the same results.

This probably won't fix it so here is the Fix for any and all sites that use this Adblock detection.
I'm sure someone here will be mad I found and shared this with the user's, but it's your computer your internet and your bandwith. So I say it's your choice if you use it I'm tired of site's trying to force these Ad's on there user's, and I think they will still gain enough from user's that don't know how to have their own choice's.

So read this page for this user script which I have installed and tested on several site's I can say it works.
https://github.com/reek/anti-adblock-killer
It will expalin how to install if you don't already know how to install a userscript.
But here is a simple rundown on the steps.

Step 1: Install a Script Manager
Greasemonkey (FireFox), Tamper Monkey (Chrome), Violentmonkey or Tamper Monkey (Opera), NinjaKit(Safari) You can get the links from that site above or search for them if needed.

Step 2: Add anti-adblock-killer FilterList to your ad-block

Step 3: Install the UserScript (Anti-Adblock Killer)

Please read the Developers GitHub for more details and Support/Donate/Like/Follow.

Complete instructions and Help for problems + links to report site's that do not work. So they can add/fix them.

I didn't know about it until I found it at the time I posted it, but it is amazing what you can find on the internet by just doing a simple search and reading. I do alot of searching and reading so when I find something that will help us the user's of Ice I post it and share. That's what the site is all about Sharing things with like minded people.

Way just doing his part to help out.

hello, I have been fighting a literal personal war with upload.af
I have followed all these instructions, to my absolute DISBELIEF, i cannot win.

this site is pure annoyance.

I tried using ublock origin, adblock, clearing the history, closing the browser, i installed the greasemonkey i installed the reek userscript AND the ad block filter lists.
i have like 20 filter lists

and I still get that annoying damn evil pop up please disable ur adblocker.

why are people here saying these instructions worked when i followed everything to the letter and am getting completely different results?
I truly wish someone here would help me. i am beggin the community. I am a technical user so yea i am at a loss here as to why this is not working for me.

im on firefox 42. even tried this in chrome no go.... on windows 7

Had you bothered to read any of the posts prior to your post you would have come across Way's tutorial, which would have resolved your problem..... Granted his explanation contains a bunch of duplicate and confusing links, none the less here is a simple solution...

Install this Greasemonkey script

Code: Select all

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/reek/anti-adblock-killer/master/anti-adblock-killer.user.js

and add this list to your adblock plus subscription

Code: Select all

http://reek.github.io/anti-adblock-killer/#fiterlist

If you dont see the subscribe button, scroll down the page.

After you have completed those two steps, you should have no further issues. If you do, you did something wrong.
