I had to reformat and want to optimize my vlc settings, however, the image links are now broken. If the insanely awesome poster of that awesome tutorial could re upload those images so I, and anyone else interested, can optimize their VLC settings.

Umm, not so much the place to post a stand-alone post. How about you give me the page url you wanted to respond to so I can merge it. If that thread is locked, please provide any-who so I can move/make your post a bit more visible and reach a satisfactory conclusion.

well the vlc settings are as follow.
goto Ur settings, press all in the bottom, then press input / codec
go down to where it says advanced, and i suggest put 5000 or 10000 in all fields, it works for me.
Next goto HTTP(s) and allow it to reconnect automatic. damn i don't have an English version, but that's about it.

When i direct you to a videohost that you can't download from, use a program like jdownloader http://jdownloader.org/download/index?s=lng_en
Else try this addon for firefox, it can download many things also. http://www.downthemall.net/
Also Internet Download Manager does a good job (IDM) http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/
