Having Probplem with the Video Stream bar

So ive been watching videos on here fine for over a year and including last night.

This morning i go to watch anything and the video will load, but the blue stream bar will not go any farther than say a couple minutes in, even if i let it load up all lets say 600 MB of Data. When it reaches the end of the blue line it says end of video and wont let me watch any further. What seems to be the problem. This has never happened to me before.

Hi Attleborotaco,

It sounds like your stream/download is cutting off early. Try clearing all your caches:

Whenever anything goes wrong, the first thing you should do is clear your caches and delete all your cookies:

Clear all cookies and browser cache (in Firefox) by selecting the clear recent history function. Be sure all applicable entries are checked (under the details tab), and be sure to select "everything" at the top. Then clear your divx download cache (right-click in player window, select preferences, download cache, and clear it). Restart your browser.

Please interpret the instructions for your browser (if it's not firefox). In chrome it's called clearing "all saved data." Try hitting [ctl, shift, del] then clearing EVERYTHING. The instructions for the divx webplayer are the same.

It's also possible you may have hit the download cap (You can increase that cap by signing-up for a free acct. with megaupload. Sign in and keep that tab open while you use IceFilms.). To check, open a video link in another tab or window (that will open the MU page) and select download instead of play. If you've hit the cap there should be a message there from MU.

You can no longer simply right-click a video link to open it on a MU page. After you've opened a links page you need to find the blue 'sources' link, up, and to the right of the video links. That link you can still select to open in another tab. Do that. Now you can just click one of the video links and it will open on a MU page, and you can attempt a download, and see just what's going on. You can also expose the MU link by reloading the sources page with your greasemonkey extension disabled (left-click on the monkey), and simply clicking on one of the sources.
