Reason & fix for "Failed to connect"

Many people get the message failed to connect, now mostly its because your unregistered to megaupload and all the free members and premium users get put in priority to you.

Another issue is divx, when you connect to a video - divx checks to see if you already have that file stored in your "Temporary Downloaded Files" I am unsure about this, but if you fail to connect the first time it creates a file inside here which could then be used for divx to resume from if trying to connect to again, since it failed - it continues to fail.

3 Possible solutions to fix Failed to connect

    • Clear your firefox browser cache (click here to see how) Clear your divx cache ( Right click the divx web player, properties )

    • Delete all files inside your "C:\Users\*username*\Videos\Divx Movies\Temporary Downloaded Files" Please note that in doing so will remove all resume points of divx web player (icefilms does not support resume though)

    • Register for a FREE account at http://www.megaupload.com To have priority over those without an account (using a free account will not put you in same priority of premium accounts though)

You know there no difference, right? streaming simply means you watch the vid as you download. Do you have a wireless router? If yes, check to see if anyone else is using megaupload or megavideo.
