Thanks 4 da tipz bro's, :D
it looks like loads of hours quality-film!

PI started out really hardcore 4 d first hour or so,
an in d end it weakens off a little, true.
I really liked it intensely anyway do.
Emptyness and leavin things b is somewhat
of the moral of d movie I guess..

I'll be sure to come back about d flicks yu tipped on me,
an I'll tell yu my findings! :o

Lock stock is epic.

i'm gonna give you 3, that you mmust watch or you might die.

1-Old boy (very dark)
2-Let's go to prison (very light comedy)
3-Baraka (experimental movie where ideas are expressed by video, not dialogue [there is 0 dialog during 1h30] )

tadaaaaaaaaa.

aeclasik i like your tastes but must say that i didn't like Monster vs Aliens either. (cars was so bad i nearly lost faith in pixar, but then Wall-E came)

you'd like old boy aeclasik it's vers se7en-ish.

Oldboy is the most awesome movie ever!
I did an upload request, so it should be on IceFilms.

First off Monster Vs. Aliens is from Dreamworks not Pixar, and it wasn't the greatest movie. Anyways thx for the recommendation but I own Old Boy (haha) and I really love it, what most people don't know is Old Boy is part of the vengeance trilogy which includes:
  • Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
  • Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
  • Old Boy

But this got me thinking to recommend some foreign films which I really like, so here goes:
  • King and the Clown (Wang-ui namja)
  • Departures (Okuribito)
  • Pan's Labyrinth (El laberinto del fauno)
  • Run Lola Run (Lola rennt)
  • Let the Right One In (Låt den rätte komma in)
  • 3-Iron (Bin Jip)
  • City of God (Cidade de Deus)
  • Love's a Bitch (Amores Perros)
  • And Your Mother Too (Y Tu Mamá También)
  • JCVD
  • Audition (Ôdishon)
  • Any Hayao Miyazaki

Nice touch addin' some foreign flicks! :geek:
Miyazaki is indeed incredible, I have seen almost everything of him!
His movies are always fantastic and go very deep.
If they were made into a proper Hollywood productions,
they would slay the Oscar's 4 sure!

The old boy trilogy is quite hard to watch. Old boy is the only one really open to a non-specialist crowd.

My bad confusing pixar/DW. ! i make a bad geek :geek:

Cidad de deus is deep. Is the second one worth anything ?

YES! Cidade dos Homens is a true masterpiece!
It is a definately MUST see..
Not often do you see a sequal living up to it's predecessor like that.
