"Game of Thrones" fans were left in various stages of shock, grief and outright anger after Sunday's episode, "The Rains of Castamere." The episode featured a bloody event nicknamed "The Red Wedding" that saw Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), her son Robb (Richard Madden), Robb's wife Talisa (Oona Chaplin) and their unborn child murdered by the treacherous Frey family.
Naturally, the actors were just as devastated as the fans at having to leave the show (Madden told reporters that he cried all the way back to London after filming his death scene) and Fairley admitted that filming the Red Wedding left her "completely exhausted -- I've never felt anything like it in my life."
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss said that they attempted to contact Fairley after she wrapped filming to see if she was OK, with Weiss telling EW: "We tried to call Michelle afterwards. She wasn’t answering. A week later she wrote an email saying, 'Sorry I haven’t been able to talk to anybody about the show for the past week because I’ve been so shattered.'"
Fairley revealed that she couldn't answer the executive producers' call during an interview with EW: "It’s incredibly emotional. And Dan Weiss had left me a voice-mail and I did try to ring him back but by the end of the day I was a walking shell."

Read the books. He pretty much butt rapes all your emotions nice & proper. I tell you now Game of Thrones is THE BEST book to ever be adapted by film and for that you will hate it. It hasn't strayed very far at all from the original plot.
I leave your weeping asses with this ...
