I just don't know what the deal is with trying to make these guys suits look like basketballs. First the new Spider-Man now this. Plus, where's that famous Superman curl?




So far, he's just kinda reminding me of this guy....

hmmm.....not sure .....as I have said before in another thread when he was first announced as being cast in the role , I'm just not sure about him somehow his look doesn't fit the image of superman for me, but with the supporting cast that the film has I am secretly getting excited about the film...

The supporting cast looks great, but Supes is definitely the linchpin. I'm glad that they went back to the traditional S-shield, but the "basketball" textured, darker suit and a cape that is way, way too long just doesn't do it for me.

Well i did hear zack snyder say he wanted to do something totally different if he was to direct this, meaning the retro 40's 50's stylized superman like apple pie diners and ol' chevrolet cruisers etc. has been done to death in the superman "universe" he apparantly wants to make it as close to ours as possible believe it or not zack says this

i can live with him... looks ok as Man of Steel. the suit needs a little work though.
as Kenny said, that Basketball/Scale(ish)... i like my Superman to wear silk^^

the cape has some Spawn to it... he could rock it maybe.

a belt could work too, you are right... something needs to be done there.

and whatever 'bout muscles and so forth, Superman is an alien,
no need for buffed up arms and abs... :/ he looks like a bodybuilder.

it's scifi, there is room for imagination. that's what it's about, no?

i still hope the movie somehow delivers, and maybe, really MAYBE,
Nolan makes some Superman VS/& Batman thingy like in the graphic novels.
