Pretty much nothing in life is as good, (or as familiar), as it was 5-10-20 years ago.
The world is in a constant state of flux, no matter what aspect of it you're looking at.
Everything changes, sometimes for the better, sometimes for worse...but you have to roll with the changes and do what's best for you.
If that translates to moving on and leaving the old behind, so be it.
When you apply this principle to downloading/streaming, online...the changes tend to be quick.
The internet is evolving, every day, and in all honesty, you are lucky the people who run Ice continue to do so, at all. Hundreds of similar sites have risen and fallen, in the last 10 years, but Ice remains. Even currently operating sites have constant issues, whether it's hosts who no longer allow piracy-branded sites to continue, to filehosts dropping like flies, to userbases moving to other sites or platforms, for whatever reason. This sort of service takes dedication and hard work, and if you're not willing to be a part of that, then you have to deal with the changes, as they come, and act accordingly.
Filehosts are tricky, and sites have to use the ones they are most comfortable using. This may not be convenient, for some, but it is still the way things are going to be, whether you like it or not. As for upload times...that is a completely different thing, and a lot of hubris on the part of the person complaining. If you want to watch television shows or movies, as they release, then you need to pay for them. (As a quick aside, there is not a SINGLE paid service that offers instantaneous release of content. There is always a delay, unless they are producing that content, themselves. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and other network-based streaming services ALL operate this way.)
If you aren't going to pay for those services, then you are asking for a free service to cater to your individual desires, which is simply not going to happen. Uploaders/Linkhunters have their own lives, their own schedules, and that is not always going to match up with the immediacy you seem to require. Using your inconvenience as a platform for griping about the way people run their sites is never going to do anything but make you seem like you're whining...especially when you are donating neither time, effort, nor money to the cause.
TL;DR - Stop griping and do what you need to do to make yourself happy, and don't expect others to do it for you!
