Section A
If you're using Microsoft Windows, Firefox/Chrome and using an ISP that doesn't block IceFilms and you're having problems with viewing content, please at least try the following troubleshooting before submitting a post to the technical section. If you've already been directed to this tutorial from the Technical section, please go to Section B and follow the instructions there.

Download and install CCleaner.
Run the program and click "Run Cleaner". After this process completes, please click on "Registry" and "Scan for Issues", once that has finished, click "Fix Selected Issues...".
Finally, restart your computer.

If the above has not helped you, move on to the following steps;

Section B
Download the following and keep them safe:

Remove the following programs
    Greasemonkey Addon

Repeat (or just do them, if you didn't do Section A first) CCleaner steps (from Section A)

Re-Install the following, in the order shown below;
    Firefox or Chrome
    DivX Web Player 1.42
    AC3 Filter v1.46
    Greasemonkey addon for Firefox (Already installed in Chrome)
    GM Script for Greasemonkey

4) Restart your computer

If your issue is not resolved, please use the Search function.
Alternatively visit the Technical Issues / Mainsite Issues / Report Bad Links and browse for related content, then post a thread if you've not found the correct help for your issue.

If you're here because you've been directed here from a post in the Technical Section, please report back with your results.

I got mine working, and I joined just to spread my little tip.

Install a older version of Divx, I am using Divx 7. I can't explain why it works but I was having the same problems until I did so and now I never got it once. However, it isn't perfect, it is going to ask you if you want to upgrade every time you use it and I haven't figured out have to get rid of that aspect.

This is my favorite tutorial, so I just want it closer to the top - okay?
Ignorance and callousness are not virtues

A bleeding heart is a symbol of holiness, a symbol of compassion, not an epithet

When our discourse sinks to the level of meaningless, pejorative labels and personal name-calling rather than honest reflection and reasoned dialogue, we are no longer a people, but a mob

I have tried everything here. This works for some things, but still having trouble streaming, always buffering, or just not working at all.
