New Divx Save As Work Around

The new Divx Web Player doesn't have the Save as option, so this is a work around for when you watch something and want to save it afterwards. Copied from one of my Help Posts so it's the info about Divx Cache / Where it is / How to find it on Win 7. This is not a Help Post goto Help Section viewtopic.php?f=140&t=98363

OK after some more research I have found the Divx Cache.
As the fine folks at Divx have changed the preferences.
And it looks to me like it auto cleans the cache now. If not then you can delete everything in this folder location.
You can test this for yourself goto this page Open in a new tab/window and press play then pause the video, and come back here to finish.
Now goto C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp\DDMCache.
You will now see 2 things listed.

After the video is fully buffered/downloaded the .ddp will change
to .mkv and a 3rd thing will show in that folder.

OK now that the .ddp changed to .mkv you can cut/copy with a
right click and save the file to another location. This is not a recommended
way to save/download a video as it will write the twice to your hard drive, and this process is bad on the hard drive. Because of the double writing process.
But if you have watched something streaming and say I wish I could save it.
Why did Divx remove the right click save as function that I so loved for this.
Now you still can ;) After you close the window/tab that the player was in
these will be deleted (cache is auto deleted, If not then you can delete everything in this folder location.), so cut/copy before closing window/tab.

Divx Cache Folder and How to Find it Window 7
Now you have to manually search for it on your Hard Drive.
The location is C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp\DDMCache
Replace User Name with your Windows User Profile Name.
Open Explore the folder Icon at the bottom or from any open folder.
Navigate on the Left to your HD C: then find Users then whatever your Profile name is click it. Now AppData is hidden by default, so we have to change the folder options.(If you haven't done this)

OK if you don't see a menu bar in explore then , press the ALT key
Now go to Tools/ Folder Options / View Tab and tick Show hidden files, folder, or drives , and Untick the Hide extensions for know file types (this will show the .avi/.mp4/.mkv/.flv/.part extensions of your video files), so if you want to cut/copy you will know which one to pick. Apply and now you can find the AppData/Local/Temp/DDMCache folder, and the 3 things listed above will be there.
